Raul Marín Balmaceda

How to get here: FLL is situated in the northern part of Chilean Patagonia in the Aysen province close to the village of RMB. You can access the place by private car on a 1 ½ hours drive from La Junta (shortly before getting to RMB you will have to cross the Palena river on a free public ferry operating in summer time between 8:30 am and 6:30 pm and in winter time between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm). In case of travelling without your car you could take a bus from La Junta to RMB operating there times a week (leaving La Junta on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 3 pm). In this case you have to tell the bus driver to get oof roughly 2 kilometers before getting to RMB in order to access FLL on a short side road. You could also charter a plane in Puerto Montt and arrive to the air strip close to FLL or you could take the twice a weekly boat (Naviera Austral) leaving either from Quellon on the island of Chiloe or from Puerto Chacabuco/Aysen close to Coyhaique to arrive directly in the port of RMB.
